Arbetsbeskrivning
Nordnet offers services that simplify savings, investments and loans. With smart solutions and a modern approach, we focus on active savers in the Nordic region. Our vision is to become the leading bank for savings in the Nordic countries. We will get there by using simplicity as a starting point, with the best interest for our savers in mind. Nordnet AB (Publ) is listed on NASDAQ OMX Stockholm.
The story of Shareville & Nordnet
Shareville started as fast growing next gen financial start-up working with connecting people that are interested in savings. We are displaying what real people actually do with their own money in real-time and by doing so we share knowledge and inspiration from good investors to the rest of us. Shareville is a fully owned subsidiary of Nordnet and are providing services to Nordnets customers in four Nordic countries.
We are now looking for a Product Owner for Shareville to join Nordnet and our Product organization. To learn more about The Story of Shareville – check the video out!
Product
The product organisation at Nordnet is responsible for the user experience of Nordnet’s digital presence and ensures that our customers have access to the best products. The Chief Product Officer (CPO), who is part of the Nordnet management team, and to whom you will be reporting, heads the department.
Product Owner and Requirement Analyst from Products along with a Pipe Master, Developers, Testers and QA from IT form a Product Pipe. We currently have seven such product pipes, and will now expand with an 8th - the Shareville Pipe.
All teams in the Product and IT organisations work agile and follow the development methods Scrum or Kanban.
Your Role
We are not a regular run of the mill bank. There are no casual Fridays because every day is wear-whatever-you-want-day, we do happiness retrospectives every sprint, we drink from cups with slogans like “Solve the problem not the blame” and we are probably further advanced in design sprinting than any company you now (maybe except Google who invented the model).
Right in the middle of that eclectic mix of people, opinions and talent lives Shareville. The only social trading platform in the Nordics where people invest their own money and the performance of their portfolios drives the advise for others. We take the saying “put your money where your mouth is” very serious and so do our members. The platform is highly appreciated and it’s full of great product innovations yet we are far from done.
This is where you come in to play. As Product Owner for Shareville, you will be responsible for outlining the strategic direction for Shareville and Nordnet´s social trading initiatives. In addition, you will drive a team of dedicated and fun individuals from Product and IT in delivering on your Shareville strategy and commitments.
This means that you will:
• Continuously prioritize our backlog of opportunities and manage the expectations of all stakeholders
• Drive out new product innovations
• Derive the minimum needed to validate hypotheses and relentlessly experiment in order to produce value faster
• Research, understand and act upon the competitive landscape
• Actively contribute to feature discussions
• Communicate Product activities throughout the organisation
• Closely collaborate with fellow Product Owners and the rest of Nordnet to bring complex cross dependent initiatives to a timely close
• Understand fintech disruptions and how we take and maintain a leading position in the future financial market
• Closely collaborate with marketing team in order to create maximum impact product launches
• Constantly push product growth
Competence Requirements
In order to be successful in this role you:
• have a strong desire to change the financial industry for the better
• live and breathe the psychology of product management, the digital industry and growth
• have your finger on the pulse of the fintech industry
• Have a positive can-do attitude and a passion for life
• identify with Nordnet’s core values: committed, curious, smart and honest
• have an entrepreneurs mind and LOVE a challenge
Your Qualifications
• A minimum of three years of experience in digital product management
• A minimum of three years of experience working with agile software development teams
• Extensive experience in digital marketing methods and how to integrate these in a product development process
• Deep understanding of the software development process and the product development process
• A professional command of both spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Extensive analytical skills as well as business strategic skills
Programming skills and/or financial and trading experience are considered as a merit.
