We are looking for a Product Owner, Social Media Channels & SEO at Volvo Construction Equipment

We are looking for a Product Owner, Social Media Channels. The communications landscape is changing rapidly and social media is now a principal channel for engaging with our stakeholders.
In this role you will be in charge of the Volvo CE social media channels and help establish the company’s social media strategy as part of the overall digital marketing journey. You will identify social media trends, new tech and best practices. You will also monitor competitor activity with regards social media communications and trial new means of communication with our audiences.
The ideal candidate will have an open minded approach to the challenges of the role and be collaborative in reaching mutually beneficial solutions. An enthusiastic and supportive work style that helps to build trust among colleagues would also be an asset.

You will be part of the Center of Competence: Digital Infrastructure and be one of Volvo CE’s digital subject-matter experts. You will add value by continuing to develop the digital maturity of the Volvo CE brand worldwide, both internally and externally. You’ll be expected to collaborate with colleagues across the department, across the Communications function and the wider business to identify and define digital strategies, as well as to secure the necessary skills.
This is what we need you to do!
• Ensure a consistent social media presence across the organization by developing and maintaining a channel-and-content strategy.
• Prioritize social media activity.
• Reach the desired target audiences via an integrated multi-channel communication.
• Drive SEO improvement work (together with the Content CoC).
• Support digital communication and marketing campaign activation.
• Support influencer outreach on behalf of brand, including researching, negotiating and executing on paid influencer content.
• Seek optimization and growth through performance evaluation to ensure a targeted data-led strategy.
• Identify developments in social media with the potential to add value for Volvo CE, share findings and propose improvements.
• Promote the importance of social media as a business enabler internally, and foster growth in this area.
Education and skills:
• Academic degree in Media & Commucations, Marketing or similar.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Holistic mindset, work with a greater picture in mind.
• Experience in sales and marketing is an advantage.
