Our unit Safe Vehicle Automation develops and delivers leading Safety and Autonomous Driving. We even control the vehicle’s 6 degrees of freedom of movement in the most energy efficient way, creating a rewarding and confident drive and ride experience.
Our purpose is to develop and deliver Vehicle Motion and Control, ADAS, Highway Pilot and Protective Safety.

Dept 96200 AD & ADAS Platform and Protective Safety
The department 96200 consists of ~140 skilled engineers and we are responsible all the way from research and advanced engineering to implementation, verification and validation of current and future customer offers. Our products quality and customer response are also our responsibility.
Our ART (Agile Release Train) Protective Safety develops and integrates system and functionality into a complete product, encompassing SW, HW – ECU and peripheral sensors.
For Protective Safety, electronic sensors and ECUs detect, determine, and activate different devices e.g. airbags and belts in case of an accident, and the system protects occupants inside the car and pedestrians outside in a crash situation.
In addition, our ART is also responsible for HP GNSS (High Performance Global Navigation Satellite System, which is one of the major contributors for enabling the Highway Pilot functionality.
We are now searching for a PO (Product Owner) for two teams which are responsible for our SRS (Supplementary Restraint System) system. As a PO in an Agile context you are responsible for the product, prioritize the team´s backlog, You emphasise the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders. You participate as a member of the extended Product Management team and review and contribute to the program-level vision, roadmap, and content presentations.
You will interact and collaborate with other Product Owners and various stakeholders to enable fulfillment of their requirements as well as driving the evolution of our capabilities for the future.
Do you fit the profile?
You are a curious, problem solving person with a true Team player mindset. You are eager to create technical clarity for your agile teams and at the same time you inspire and empower them to contribute with their extensive experience and innovativeness towards a vision platform they take pride in developing.
You also have an ability to think holistically, cut through the “noise” and translate complex business/technical scenarios into a prioritized product backlog. You keep yourself updated on the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to know how they can improve the end customer experience.
You are flexible, data minded and because you have a strong understanding in hardware and software development, you are comfortable in deep technical discussions. You are flexible and can handle multiple parallel tasks at the same time. You are also well familiar with the Scrum methods and Way of Working. When it comes to communication skills you can explain, present and simplify the technical details for teams and stakeholders.
As a person, you are social and work effectively together with others to achieve results. You are driven, quality conscious and inspired by technical challenges.
Furthermore, you have a M.Sc or a B.Sc within Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Software Engineering or similar. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience as Product owner or similar. You also a proven track record of putting relevant products into production.
Having a valid B-driving licence.
