What is a product owner?
You work in an agile team responsible for defining and prioritizing what the team is working on (you own the backlog for the team).
In this role you are the bridge between the business and IT, working together with product management and other key stakeholders in supply chain and other parts of the organization to understand and develop the vision of where we are going, converting this vision into projects (epics) and actions, refining these so they can be developed.
This includes working in and being a gatekeeper for processes, ways of working and in that the organization understands and are working to fully utilize the solutions we have and which we develop.
You will also act as a project manager for big projects when this is needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating and communicating a vision for the solution and for the processes.
- Working closely together with the business, key stakeholders and product management to create a backlog and roadmap for you area.
- Help drive excellence in solution development and ascertain that we meet our commitments.
- On a daily basis work in your SCRUM-team on the product- and solution development.
- You are responsible for the team backlog and in developing it.
- You should be able to step into the role of project manager when so required.
- Having a clear responsibility in quality control for the solutions developed.
Your background:
You likely have a background as a business or process developer within supply chain or you have a background as a business consultant in this area.
You could also have a history as a ERP-developer in this area. Knowledge of Infor M3 is positive, but you can also have experience from other ERP solutions with a willingness to learn a new system.
Experience of project management is beneficial, but in any way you have experience in being an leader of people, formally or informally.
As a person, you are really passionate about the business side, and about business development. You like to learn more, know more, and you challenge people around you to do the same. You deliver what you promise.
You probably have:
- A strong ERP background for supply chain
- Experience in process or business development with the supply chain area
- Experience in project management
- Experience in WMS and / or TA-solutions
- Experienced in agile ways of working, notably SCRUM.
- A fluent Swedish & English
