The role
As the Product Owner for the Support and Administration for Connectivity tool (SnAC), in team COSTA, you will be an important part of and contribute to have the development of best possible product available for our end users. Together with the Solution Architect, Business Analyst, SCRUM master and team Manager, you will set the roadmap, plan and prioratize activites towards our joint product goal. Although all team members are responsible for contributing to the development of the product as well as leveraging the team’s capabilities, you will be a key facilitator and the go-to person regarding questions about the vision and function of the product. This entails activities such as supporting the developers to better understand the users’ needs, potential business outcome and benefits, to align development initiatives with product targets.
You will be taking the lead in the different stages of the product’s evolution, such as planning and communicating releases and present progress in relevant foras, communities and meetings. You will be maintaining dialogues with stakeholders and balancing their input with current capabilities.
Your profile
Most important is your personality and an inner drive to deliver the best product ever. Ability to work independent, but also together with others. Knowledge in product management and software development. You take responsibility and are able to communicate efficiently on different levels and with different kind of people.
We also believe you have:
Relevant education in the area, knowledge about the transport industry and its operation. Business mindset with a agile way of working. Familiar with JIRA/Confluence, a technical understanding and interest in how things work. A good way with word and communicate efficiently in writing. We also believe you have a valid work-permit for Sweden, if non EU-citizen.
Since English is the official language of the Volvo Group, you must be fluent in both speaking and writing. It’s a great advantage if you also have knowledge of the Swedish language. Any other language is meriting.
