Are you ready to be a Product Owner for a team taking an active role in the digital transfer at Volvo Cars Sustainability Centre and Vehicle Energy Efficiency? Then the role as Product Owner in the group Vehicle Energy Efficiency could be the place for you to prosper!
What will you do?
As Product Owner within Vehicle Energy Efficiency, Data Analysis and Strategy, your goal will be to minimize non-value-added work by owning and deciding upon priorities in the team backlogs.
You will work closely with the Scrum Master for the team, the Product Manager for your Team of Teams, and the development team. You will review and re-pritiorize the backlog as part of the preparatory work for iteration including coordination of content dependencies with other Product Owners, Stakeholders, Managers, Scrum Masters, and Product Managers. You will be resposible to set a vision and roadmap for your product and protect the long-term technical integrity of the product. You will also enable collaboration and define the scope of upcoming work together with System Architects, Technical Experts, and Aspect Leaders to assist with decision-making and closing of strategical knowledge gaps.
You and your skills
We believe that you have a university degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Systems Control, Mechatronics, Physics, or similar. You have experience from, and a positive approach to the Agile way of working and SAFe. It is an advantage if you have experience from the automotive industry and some years of working with data analytics. Also, previous experience in leading people is meritorious.
On a personal level, we believe you are a servant leader who can motivate and create confidence in the team. You possess strong communication skills and enjoy working with networking. You are outgoing and find it easy to collaborate with others. You are curious and continuously search for new knowledge. Your English is fluent, both written and spoken, and you have a proven ability to inspire, challenge and lead different teams as a servant leader.
