Product Owner-Test Management Systems

We currently have a vacancy for a Product Owner for Test Management systems within our Testing and Laboratory facility and are looking for a new team member. Together we make sure that Penta has the tools and system required to develop and test the products needed for tomorrow (be it electrical, diesel or hybrid). As a Product Owner you will:
Be a key part of our team working with prioritization, requirements, talking to stakeholders, participate in and drive information flow. As a person you enjoy working in a team and have the ability to inspire your team colleagues. Since the job consists of an extensive network of contacts and forums, both internally and externally your networking skills will be a key focus part of your daily work.
As Product Owner you will actively support daily operations and sub-system maintenance to ensure quality and uptime of testing activities and take part in forums that will highlight a need for input or change into the Test Management tool. You will actively work as part of a scrum team and develop this way of working within the team. This is a key role within our organization as we transform our Product development and future product portfolio to support the Volvo Group strategy for sustainable driveline solutions and science-based targets.

Qualifications and Experience
In this highly technical field, we encourage applicants with an engineering background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, Physics or similar.
Daily experience or a good knowledge of the following formats would be excellent:
Knowledge of engine or product testing
Experience with scrum and agile working
Experience with JIRA or similar issue tracking software
Knowledge of software development, testing, and maintenance
The following would be fantastic too:
Experience within Engine Testing Development & Automated Testing Systems
Knowledge or experience of engine emissions legislation
Passion for organisation and prioritization

Engine Testing Development (ETD) is an energized group within Product Solutions Development and responsible to secure that Test management, Virtual testing environment, test equipment, testing interface and test benches for heavy duty Industrial and Marine engine applications are optimised and fulfil testing requirements according to established routines and legislation. This is the challenge we meet to be able to perform engine test measurement in a quality assured way.
