Borealis is a leading provider of innovative, value creating plastic solutions that address global challenges.Their key market segments are pipe systems for water, gas and sewages as well as power cables and telecommunication wiring, automotive and advanced packaging.Borealis has about 4.500 employees throughout Europe with growing presence in Middle East and Asia-Pacific.Borealis is the only manufacture of polythene in Sweden.The company is located in Stenungsund where they have 1 100 employees.You can find more information about the company at www.borealisgroup.com/public/ Role Purpose You will serve our customers by driving continuous improvement in product quality, performance and cost of Wire & Cable for our polyethylene and polypropylene products in the portfolio.You will through networking with the production sites and other organizations ensure that our commercial products meet customer's needs and expectations Contribution . You are, as Product Owner, responsible for that your products are fulfilling customers request, can be produced within established specifications and at the lowest possible cost . You maintain product specifications, perform product quality reviews, and participate in CST (Customer Support Team).You are responsible for initiating corrective actions if quality and consistency of products, technical data or specifications is not fulfilling the demands . You are in contact with customers through regular discussions with Marketing, Technical Service and Sales organizations . You are responsible for the technical data in the marketing documentation/tool e.g.technical data sheets . You initiate and perform claim investigations in order to define corrective actions and settle claims technically . You are responsible for technically test and approve raw materials for your products in order to secure the supply through buying teams.As well audit suppliers according to audit plan . You contribute to overall HSE&Q performance keeping high HSE&Q standards in the relevant work environment Skills You have an MSc degree in technical chemistry or mechanics and/or relevant work experience e.g.within plastics industry.Knowledge in organizational development e.g.six Sigma or project managing is favourable.You should also be fluent in English.We believe You have a well developed analytical and conceptual thinking.You enjoy taking own initiative and have a big concern for order and Quality.
