Job Description

The product area Evaluate & Decide within our Customer domain focuses on the latter stage of the purchase journey. We are providing our customers with relevant experience and information to help them make a confident purchase decision on our products, increasing our conversion and reducing unnecessary returns. This area will take an omni-scope, considering digital and store channels, as well as all Portfolio brands (COS, Weekday, & Other Stories, Monki, Arket, and Afound) and regions across the H&M group.
We want to accelerate the development of the digital customer experience for our Portfolio Brands and are thus starting a new product, Portfolio Brand Acceleration, with an Evaluate and Decide focus. The team’s vision is to create a convenient customer experience with exceptional inspiration and guidance for all our Portfolio Brand customers. Focus will mainly be on improvements of Size and Fit, Product Recommendations and the Product Detail Page functionality for our brands. The team’s ambition is to move with speed and flexibility to improve H&M Group’s digital experiences across different brands and different platforms. Hence, we are now looking for a Product Owner who will lead this exciting journey.
Job Responsibilities
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading a cross competent, empowered and customer centric product team that delivers exceptional business results. You will set an ambitious and clear product vision and communicate it effectively to collaboration partners and the product team to ensure digital vision. You have a deep business understanding as well as strong appreciation for technology and will align with other Product Owners to ensure interfaces to other Products and common KPIs are maintained. Furthermore, as a Product Owner you are responsible for product specific KPIs once solution enters production and communicate regular tracking to stakeholders and for leading the team while delivering exceptional customer and business results.
In addition to this, you will:
Contribute to the end-to-end team outcome strategy from inception to production
Own and maintain the backlog based on the given targets and KPIs
Understand the financial impact of team and product related decisions
Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria for their product
Work closely with Product Design to Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer driven design
Things we look for
We believe you have at least 2-5 years of experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager with outcome responsibility at growth-stage or enterprise company. You have experience leading a cross-functional development team to achieve the common mission, prioritizing work and inspiring the team to improvement. You also have an ability to influence decision makers and manage stakeholders to achieve the product mission, and to own and articulate end-to-end product requirements across product teams. You are also capable of gathering, analyzing, and understanding customer and business needs and understand both impact against product backlog and impact on team. Furthermore, we believe you have:
Functional knowledge of Lean-Agile Development and methodologies as well as Product Vision Creation and Product Roadmap Development
Strong familiarity with Rapid Prototyping, Value Preposition Definition and OKR methodologies
Ability to build end-to-end product strategy, including definition of scope, roadmap, and KPIs and understand product development from ideation to release
Proficiency with integrating qualitative and quantitative research, product analysis and customer insights into product requirements
Ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members
