Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania builds software around a product that weighs over 3,5 tons, traveling in 90 km/h and that is the blood vein of our society - the transport system. Scania today has over 600.000 vehicles and other products connected online.
The department Connected Systems is looking for a product owner to help us drive the development of new connectivity solutions in our projects within electrification, autonomy, and data streaming.
What you will do
We work in a SAFe inspired setup where you as PO will manage one or more of our agile DevOps team. One important task is to manage the team's backlog and make sure the team's deliveries are according to our priorities. You also have an active role in deciding on priorities within our release train (VCT) and thereby securing that our customer, Scania, and society get the most valuable IoT functions.
An important part of your product owner role is to be able to make the development team understand the requirement of the solution that they will build. Our DevOps teams write code both in the vehicle (Linux, C++) as well as in the backend (AWS, Python). This means that you and your teams will be able to deliver end-to-end IoT solutions.
You will be a part of the product management team together with the other product owners and the product manager for our release train.
Who you are
You probably have a technology background in software development. Experience from embedded development and the automotive industry is of good merit.
You have the leadership skills needed to be a product owner for a major product area.
This means that you can drive your product area, contribute to the product management team and be able to make trade-offs. You have the ability to understand group dynamics, facilitate meetings, delegate, build and work with networks, and know how to build trust within the organization.
