Who we are
The Side & Roof ART (Agile Release Train) is a part of the Vehicle Platform stream at R&D. As a part of this ART, the Trim & Glass Systems teams are responsible for all glass around the car including trims and cappings, rails, antenna cover and lidar cover. We are developing all our solution in-house, so-called Build to Print. The Trim & Glass area is a growing area including more and more functions, for example so-called smart glasses.
We are now searching for a new dedicated leader who will work as a Product Owner for our four teams within Trim & Glass Systems.

What you will do
As a Product Owner you will have the technical responsibility for the Trim & Glass area and will work together with highly skilled people, both design engineers and project leaders. You will own, build, decide, and refine the roadmap and the backlogs of the teams. You will maintain a dialog with all our stakeholders both for team intake and as a team ambassador. You are responsible for the technical long-term plan of the area in collaboration with the Team manager, ART Architects and Product manager.
You will also have a very close cooperation with the Team Manager and the Scrum Master, helping the teams to broaden their competence and grow. You will work together with the Product Manager and other Product Owners from the ART to define and maintain the teams’ roadmap, share experience, ideas and contribute to drive change throughout the whole ART. You will be part of a large network internally with Procurement, SQM (Supplier Quality Management), Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and externally with suppliers.

Who you are
You are a strong leader with previous experience in project management and with the ability to drive tasks towards goals and deliver on time. You can motivate and create confidence in the teams. You possess strong communication skills and are eager to work in a group, cooperating with others, both inside and outside the ART. You are a problem-solver with a positive mindset, are curious and continuously searching for new knowledge, new solutions and business opportunities. 
We also see that you have a university degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical engineering. You are familiar with Volvo’s product development and you have experience in the agile Way of Working and SAFe. Competence and previous experience on glass is meritorious.
