Who we are and what we offer
Connected Experience is a unit within Research & Development with the vision “Your personal user journey - always with best in class connected experience”. We work in a fun and high pace environment that also includes Connectivity, Infotainment, Car Cloud and Remote Functions, and you now have the possibility to join Vehicle Data & Diagnostics department.
At Vehicle Data & Diagnostics, we put high quality vehicle data at the fingertips of engineers and enable uptime through diagnostics. We do in-house development of software (embedded & cloud) for diagnostics monitoring, fault isolation and data collection, and we also support all of R&D with diagnostics requirements and diagnostics design as well as data access & analytics tools. We are one of the key enablers for a true data-driven organization!
What you’ll do
The main responsibility of this role is to lead the team to continuously develop, maintain and operate VCC Wireless Information Collection Environment (WICE) platform. WICE platform is an end-to-end remote engineering system composed of HW, SW and cloud backend. WICE plays a central role in the VCC data driven development and serves as an advanced remote engineering platform where use cases like fleet learning, machine learning, sensor fusion and so on can be realized. Our stakeholders spread over R&D, Quality, aftermarket, and Innovation Arena. It is important to maintain good relationship with stakeholders, all partner suppliers and collaboration with the global counterparts due to the global footprint of WICE platform. As a Product Owner, you work together with Team Manager and Scrum Master to build, refine and decide the roadmap and team backlog. We believe that you are proficient in communicating the service and system we provide and the insights that can be gained from the data. to all stakeholders.
You and your skills
To fit this position, you are passionate about people and our products and have a human-centric approach when working with our products and services. We believe that you are a servant leader that focus on the deliveries as much as the people in the teams. You are structured and target focused with a great ability to keep a holistic/strategic mindset rather than getting stuck in details. Further, you are a great communicator and networker, engaging people throughout the entire organization which makes it easy for you to collaborate with people from team to solution level. It comes naturally for you to build trust, and you are open-minded, always putting your team needs first without prestige. We also believe that your curiosity seeks you to learn new things and areas within the range of our future products and services.
As our next colleague we see that you have a MSc Degree in a relevant area (e.g. Electrical and/or Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar) or equivalent expertise with 5+ years of experience working within a relevant area. We believe you have experience from working in a technical leader role as Product Owner and that you have worked with system development, integration, verification, validation and have experience working in an agile development environment and within early phases. Your English is fluent, both written and spoken, and you have proven ability to inspire, challenge and lead teams.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with your own strengths and develop within areas as internal communication, improvements of administrative processes and other areas the organization doesn’t know they need yet. Pro-activity is one of the key factors to success in this position. We encourage a curious and positive mindset and eagerness to learn!
