The client is thrilled to announce this exciting role within their API gateways & platform product team - where you will be able to create great value by contributing with your own innovative ideas. The team is within the API & Event Integration Area and is responsible for providing re-usable patterns and templates, advising and supporting product teams to be successful in adopting and supporting modern integration patterns and practices.

In your role as a Product Owner, you will belong to the API Gateways and Platforms team. You will be responsible for building the team with the competencies needed to reach your objectives. To do this, you will lead a cross-functional, multi-competence product team in close collaboration with key stakeholders, always keeping customers at the heart of the focus.

You will define the strategic vision for your team and create the product roadmap based on a deep understanding of the market/industry, insights & data on your customers, and input from stakeholders across the company. Furthermore, you will set objectives & key results that your product will drive toward.

You will also identify, build, and manage strategic partnerships across products, working to manage dependencies.

Work tasks:

- Take end-to-end ownership of parts of the integration platform with ultimate accountability for stakeholder value delivered
- Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed on KPIs
- Lead a team of engineers to execute and deliver value
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the developments of integration principles and integration solutions
- Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles
- Monitor and manage the financial impact of decisions and priorities of the product team


Mandatory competence and experience:

- Good knowledge of API patterns and API guidelines
- Worked with API management platforms and have an understanding of the architecture setup and preferably been involved in setting up gateways in different multi-cloud environments
- Deep understanding of public cloud technologies (Azure as GCP primary, AWS also relevant)
- Experience with product management and translating needs and pains into re-usable and automated solutions
- Strong agile mindset and skilled in planning, prioritizing, execution, and follow-ups with cross-functional teams.
- Ability “to get it done” at scale while at the same time ensuring a fun, inclusive and healthy environment
- Skilled in both written and verbal communication but still able to listen in to our stakeholders and team members to understand the different perspectives
- Can lead workshops with other teams or vendors with clear outcomes
- Living and breathing security in all solutions involved
