Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.
We are looking for a new product owner for our internal Gitlab with relevant degree within IT area and qualification within solution architect, DevSecOps and commercial experience from larger organizations as Product owner, Scrum Master or Project Management. Must be proficient in written and spoken English language. Work life experience of 3-5 years is required.
The Devtools group at Scania is responsible for providing suitable development tools to the software engineers in Scania for them to swiftly build and release software into the cloud, self driving vehicles etc. Currently the tool portfolio comprises well known development software such as Github Enterprise, Gitlab, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Azure Devops , Perforce, JFrog Artifactory and more.
Your assignment
As a product owner with solution architect skills for Gitlab we work in an agile work environment. In that responsibility it´s included but not limited to below points:
• Cooperation with another Product Owner
• Defining the product vision and setting up the product roadmap
• Knowing the product details and also the users/stakeholders
• Negotiating WHAT with the stakeholders and collecting requirements to the product
• Translating user/Stakeholder requirements into clear user stories together with the team
• Adding new requirements to the product backlog
• Updating and prioritizing the backlog
• Constantly exchanging dialogue, knowledge and status with other product owners in the organization, DevSecOps teams,vendors and stakeholders
• Raising specific PO-issues to synchronize with other POs in our group
• Communicating and aligning changes to of the product with users, managers and other stakeholderb
• Designing Gitlab according to enterprise architecture
• Be responsible for the overall gitlab architecture including integrations with other systems
Your profile
You should be able to work as a Product owner with solution architect skills and should have DevSecOps Experience.(Preferably Gitlab ). You possess knowledge and have experience with CI/CD and feel comfortable with infrastructure-as-code in cloud. ( Preferably AWS)
We think you have the following skills:
• Project Manager Experience, Scrum Master and Product owner
• Experience from Software development and DevSecOps
• Relevant work experience 3-5 years
• Experience from larger organizations
• You enjoy working in an agile team and you really understand the meaning of the Agile Manifest
