Take this next step in your DevOps career as a Product Owner to join our team to continuously providing suitable development tools to other software engineers/Developers at Scania. This will help us drive the shift to more sustainable solutions by swiftly build and release software into the cloud, self-driving vehicles, etc.

The Devtools group at Scania is responsible for providing suitable development tools to the software engineers/Developers in Scania for them to swiftly build and release software into the cloud, self-driving vehicles, etc. Currently, the tool portfolio comprises well-known development software such as Github Enterprise, Gitlab, Atlassian Jira, Microsoft Azure DevOps, Perforce, JFrog Artifactory, and more.



This is a flexible value-driven T-shaped role with elements of Product ownership and architecture.

You will collaborate with the other PO in the group and together define the product vision and setting up the roadmap. You will get to know the product details so you can collaborate and inform the internal users/stakeholders at Scania as well as taking in their needs. What to do with the needs? -Translate and create user stories with the rest of the team and continuously have a dialogue with the stakeholders and other POs, teams, and vendors about possible new needs and requirements.

Approximately 50 % of the time you will design Gitlab according to enterprise architecture and have the responsibility for the overall GitLab architecture including integrations with other systems.

For you to thrive in the role of Product Owner you should have about 3 years of experience in the following:


• Project Manager Experience, e.g. Scrum Master or Product owner
• Experience from Software development, solution architecture, and DevOps
• Infrastructure as code (preferably AWS)
• Automated deployment pipelines – CI/CD

Meriting qualifications 


• knowledge about security aspects (preferably GitLab)
• Work experience from larger organizations
• Python
• Gitlab platform knowledge
