The Product Planning Department in Braås is now looking for a: Product Planner - Articulated Haulers The Hauler Product Planning department is responsible for the planning of future haulers, products and services related to Volvo articulated haulers.This includes the development of new kinds of haulers for a wide range of uses and applications.These compliment our traditional hauler range and are known as 'niche application products'.In addition to the main responsibilities outlined below the successful candidate will also support the overall development and efficiency of product planning department.Approximately 40 - 60 days travel per year may be expected. Main responsibilities: Investigate, initiate, lead and support the development and promotion of niche application haulers and other products Carry out the market research necessary to support the above activities Analysis of market evolutions and the competition Close interaction with R&D, Global Marketing and Volvo sales companies throughout the world Experience and qualifications - it would be nice if you had some of the following .Technical understanding of construction machinery or similar Understanding of various customer applications and segments Commercial understanding and project management skills Communication skills and the ability to interact with people on all levels Ability to work unsupervised in an analytical and structured manner University degree in Engineering and/or Marketing .but you MUST have the following personal qualities.Energy and enthusiasm Determination to succeed Willingness to learn Persuasiveness Trustworthiness Friendly manner Good skills in written and spoken English
