The Product Planning Department in Braås is now looking for a Product Planner Niche Applications & Options This includes the planning of new kinds of products for a wide range of uses and applications which will complement the traditional hauler range, so called 'niche application products'.In addition to the main responsibilities outlined below the successful candidate will also support the overall development and efficiency of product planning department.Approximately 40 - 60 days travel per year may be expected.Main responsibilities: Create and coordinate the haulers niche application product and option portfolio Investigate, initiate and support the development and promotion of niche application products and new options Maintain and analyse data regarding the commercial value of niche application products and options Lead such projects in the early phases of development Represent the voice of the market in project teams Analysis of market evolutions and changes in the competitive positioning Market research necessary to support the above activities Regular contact with Volvo dealers throughout the world Close interaction with R&D and Global Marketing Experience and Qualifications: A minimum of five years relevant industry experience Good technical understanding of construction machinery or similar Good understanding of various customer applications and segments Good commercial understanding and project management skills Good communication skills and the ability to interact with people on all levels Ability to work unsupervised in an analytical and structured manner University degree in Engineering and/or Marketing Good skills in written and spoken English are a must
