We are looking for a Product Portfolio Leader to work with our newly formed Nucleic Acid Therapeutics team. Do you have a passion for developing products and technology with the chance to deliver innovative solutions impacting patients’ lives? Then we would love to hear from you.
What you’ll do
You will lead the development of a complete mRNA and nucleic acid therapeutics product portfolio by coordinating and developing a total application capability as well as new products in a manner that maximizes the overall return/ profit to the company, within the context of company, business area and marketing and operational plans.
You will lead a small team developing dedicated new products as well as working closely and in direct collaboration with other key product teams developing complementary products to ensure on time delivery of projects, input of requirements, and alignment on key value propositions dedicated to Nucleic acid therapeutics
Partner with R&D and Product Management across businesses to execute the New Product Development Roadmap, working closely with development teams to define requirements from product ideation, enhancements and sustaining phases.
Drives innovative business opportunities through a Phase-Gate Development process in the capacity of a Product Owner/Manager from “product ideation” phase to the “Ramp Up” phase of the projects. Assure maximum Return on Investment (ROI) considering capacity and capability gaps, channel gaps & incremental revenue and margin improvements.
Manages all aspects of the product(s) life cycle starting with the detailed planning phase (in development) until the product is terminated. Define Product Models and Structures.
Develop commercial business case to demonstrate value creation to secure project funding.
Responsible for the development of business cases for roadmap and early evaluation, scoping products, assesses competition and market segmentation. Collaborate with key stakeholders on identifying collaboration partners and potential inorganic synergies.
Lead the product ideation and creation process to clearly define product scope, user requirements, and value propositions. Use rigorous Voice of the Customer, prioritization and growth tools.
Lead the development as a customer champion to identify customer pain-points, user needs and ensure our products solve valuable problems in attractive segments.
Partner cross functionally to align on design strategies and drive design choices that will ensure Design For Manufacturing, Design For Excellence, Design For Reliability and ensure designs have high yield during manufacturing.
Proactively identify, manage, and plan for product introduction risks and mitigations.
Lead the commercial input to the product development process once the product definition is approved. Identify target market(s) for product offerings.
Strategic and tactical supply management of existing products to market for multiple customers and applications. Partner effectively with functions involved in full value stream to ensure product availability with aim to achieve delivery metrics.
Ensures compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and commercial change process.
Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for direct reports. Partner closely with the human resources organization in developing organizational capabilities through succession planning, organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, talent acquisition and talent development strategies that link with business goals.
Develop expertise and act as SME in the DHR DBS strategic tool set

Who you are
5+ years’ experience in Biomanufacturing or a related Life Sciences field ideally with direct linkage to Nucleic Acid Therapeutic market or manufacturing
5+ years’ experience in product strategy, RnD strategy or strategic development
Demonstrated track record in Executive/C-suite level presentations
Executive level communication skills
Data driven approach to segment decision making, track record of developing business cases or strategic proposals
Innovation - develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
