Key Operational Responsibilities
Define the product portfolio within respective sub-category in EMEA based on relevant market and consumer insights
Responsibility of generation planning (5 years)
Market analysis
Competitive bench marking
Responsibility of the entire P&L for respective categories
Responsibility of the category growth in the region
Involved in the budgeting process
Model catalogue creation in ROL for all new launches
Responsibility of planning phase in-phase out of ranges
In contact with the Business Development Managers to support proper development of his families in the different countries as well as understand business case relevance and tailor the product offer to local needs
Coordination with Demand Flow and Sales Planning on the timing of the new launches.
Briefs the consumer insight team on the research need for the respective product portfolio
Competences needed (Education / Experience / Skills / Competencies / Languages)
Education : University degree in marketing
Preferred Career Experience :
At least 5years of work experience in a product marketing function, preferably in Consumer Durables
Experience from FMCG would be a plus
Sales experience is a clear plus
Technical Skills and Soft Competencies :
Understanding of trade dynamics, different sales distribution channels and category management
Planning and project management skills
Presentation and negotiation skills
Team player with strong inter-personal skills
Analytical ability
Market knowledge
Commercially focused
Good English, spoken and written. Another language is a plus.
