Purpose of the position
We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer to join our CCH Quality team. The Product Quality Engineer is responsible for securing right product quality of our CCH products. The Product Quality Engineer acts for timely resolution of quality issues in cooperation with other parts of the organization. This position involves international travels and drives license is a must. This position is located in Ljungby, Sweden and you will report to the Product Quality Manager.
Key performance indicators for the role are centered on resolution of PLC and CAPA issues.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Ensure that CCH products comply with established specifications and quality requirements regardless of manufacturing site.
Work together with operation organization and the different MAU s in order to improve product quality and processes.
Produce, develop, approve, implement and maintain instructions/approval criteria for final inspection and product audit.
CCH representative to participate in MAU product audits or perform BL product audits.
Active member of the product lifetime care (PLC) team to secure investigation and implementation of product quality improvements.
Active member in CAPA team to support MAU in problem issue resolution.
Participate in product development projects (NPD).
Cooperation with product support.
Participate in way of working and process development.
Analyze quality feedback data to find improvement possibilities.
What You’ll Need To Succeed
University Degree, Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering or Quality Engineering or similar work experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position
Experiences regarding similar products are qualifying
Significant experience in quality tools like PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Ishikawa, 8D, Six sigma (Green Belt) and other quality tools or experience
Proven knowledge and ability to apply lean philosophy to improve process and systems to improve quality, reduce cost and increase profitability and customer value
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities with the ability to draw insights from data quickly and to define executable actions
Good interpersonal and multicultural communication skills
Collaborative and a “can do” mind-set
Drive for continuous improvement
Project management skills
Focus on customer needs
Ability to build trust and good relations
Driving force and energetic and result oriented
Ability to do independent work as well as teamwork
Fluent in English both in speaking and writing.
