Are you motivated by improving customer satisfaction and working with product and process improvements in an international environment? We are now recruiting a Product Quality Leader to join the central Quality Management team at Ålö:s head office in Umeå.

Ålö is the global market leader in high-quality front loaders and associated tools for agricultural tractors. Front loaders and gear are sold under the Quicke brand and in collaboration with OEM manufacturers. The company has production facilities in Sweden, USA, China and France and has sales in more than 40 countries. About the role
As a Product Quality Leader you will hold an important role in managing short term quality improvements of our products in use by customers. As a team we focus on continuously improving our deliveries and way of working. In close cooperation with our technical support staff and Product Managers you will investigate and prioritize quality issues reported by customers. You will also appoint team leaders to perform root-cause analysis and secure appropriate corrective actions.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Perform pre-investigation of field quality issues
Initiate, coordinate and prioritize quality actions
Develop the improvement process and report quality performance to the organization.
Identify potential safety related issues
Lead cross-functional teams to address Quality issues.
Train the organization in problem solving techniques and processes

Your profile
We see that you have an Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering or equivalent area and at least five years working experience within relevant field. For success in this role you enjoy working in a cross functional and international environment and have experience of leading project teams. You have a deep technical interest and is willing to learn more about our products and their application.

We are looking for a structured person with good knowledge about improvement/quality processes and root-cause analysis. Since you will work with many different internal contacts, it is important that you have very good communication, networking and presentation skills. The role is global and therefore it is important that you have very good English skills.
