This is how you could make an impact
As a Product Quality Leader (PQL) you will hold a strategic and important role, as our teams have the overall responsibility for initiating customer related quality improvements and influencing long term projects to deliver the right quality level.
The mission for a PQL is to be part of the team that manages our product improvements, and you will lead the work within the issue detection and pre-study areas.
What we basically do is to use several different sources of information to identify which are the issues that are affecting our customers the most. For this purpose, we are more and more utilizing the possibility to retrieve relevant digital vehicle data to map to perform our analysis.
We perform pre-investigations, help to prioritize the improvements and together with a cross functional team, we secure that appropriate corrective actions are taken and are effective.
Other responsibilities within the role are
As a PQL you communicate on product quality and customer satisfaction within Volvo GTT, GTO, GTP and to other stakeholders. We work in a dynamic environment, and we meet a lot of different functions and departments on a frequent basis.
You will be part of a team that really values collaboration, supporting each other and are highly motivated to make a difference to help the end customer.
Who are you? Are we a perfect match?
You have a good customer and market understanding with great skills of prioritize and address suitable solution activities. A great problem solver experienced in working in projects.
You see yourself as an excellent communicator with presentation skills. You can build your network and know how to use it in an efficient way. A real team player that believes that teamwork builds amazing results! Of course, you’re also able to take own initiatives and make decisions.
You know how to bring facts from data and how to communicate and present information. You are interested in analytics and eager to find trends and relations in different data.
University degree in technical area or equivalent experience
Several years of automotive industry experience and preferable within chassis systems functionality and components
Good knowledge about aftermarket, quality processes and products
It’s a plus if you have experience in any of the following systems:
JIRA, KOLA, IMPACT, ARGUS, QRAFT, FQA, EDB, VDB, VDA, LVD
Good skills in English
