The Job
For our warehouses in the Nordics, we are looking for an independent and knowledgeable Quality Assurance Specialist, with strong skills within produce. You will be the link between purchasing, our warehouses and our suppliers.
You will be based at our warehouse in Bjuv. A normal work week will include quality visits at our suppliers around the Nordics, alignment with our quality team in our two warehouses in Norway and Sweden, as well as looking into quality topics and planning supplier visits to make improvements
You will be at the center of driving our quality assurance initiatives, maintaining close contact with other quality team members, warehouse goods-in teams, procurement teams and not least our suppliers to ensure that the quality of the produce we receive in the warehouse and ship to our customers are of the highest standards.

You will...
Collaborate closely with our suppliers to proactively manage and develop the quality performance of our produce
Coordinate root cause analysis and communicate in the event of critical deviations of goods receipted
Conduct site visits and root cause analysis directly in our warehouses and at our supply partners
Lead and support quality improvement projects across the fresh produce category
Conduct training of goods intake employees with regard to our specified quality standards and specifications
Manage product specification in close cooperation with the suppliers, our site quality lead and strategic procurement team
Conduct urgent visits to suppliers if there are issues with quality or food safety

You have...
In-depth specialist knowledge and +3 years of practical professional experience in the fruit and vegetable product group
An understanding of product errors and weak points in supplier production processes
You think quickly and pragmatically to find quick solutions and suitable replacements
You are not afraid of risk-based decisions or approaches and are used to making quick decisions
You are characterized by strong social skills and a confident and friendly demeanor, even in stressful situations
Even in challenging situations you remain calm and make informed decisions
The ability to multitask with diverse and competing workflows is a strength of yours
Professional proficiency in English is a must; Swedish, Norwegian language preferences are a plus
