Role Summary/Purpose:
The role is to ensure the quality and technical support of purchased items included in projects and products manufactured by the Umeå factory.
Review specifications and secure incoming acceptance activities in projects
Work in close cooperation with the factory incoming inspection and suppliers
Use data analysis to improve product quality
Driving non-conforming material investigations and root cause solutions together with Production Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering
Essential Responsibilities:
Working together with suppliers for early quality assurance.
Establish control instructions and developing measurement and test procedures.
Decide the scope of inspection to ensure that the right quality levels are achieved.
View the manufacturing base and test specifications regularly and in projects.
Identify and implement operational improvements both within and outside their area of responsibility.
Analysis of defect data and included in CAPA investigation.
Interface with Supplier Quality on supplier related defects.
Conduct root cause analysis on product quality issues, identify trends, and communicate with SQEs, Engineering.
Reduction of MRB and non-conforming material inventory.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or and significant years of work experience in manufacturing industries.
Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Knowledge in printed circuit assemblies, and correlating design documentation
Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Strong communication skills, verbal and written both in Swedish and English.
Enjoying working and collaborating in teams.
Desired Characteristics:
Knowledge in measurement technology and reading mechanical drawings.
Lean manufacturing experience
Demonstrated analytical, process management skills
Experienced with external supplier relationships.
Experienced with production and supply quality.
Accustomed to plan and prioritize their daily work.
