Product Regulatory Specialist in Stenungsund

This position is responsible for supporting the business on regulatory issues and customers' regulatory demands to ensure regulatory compliance, by providing regulatory data and information to business and external customers. Facilitate fast support to business and external customers. Maintain and improve high level of internal customer satisfaction. Maintain business data for product registrations, compliance checks, and regulatory impact analysis of the businesses for BASC globally. Maintain relationship with national regulatory bodies. Main challenge of the position is to ensure compliance with chemical regulations for BASC products. The position is also expected to continuously strive to improve regulatory work processes.

Which tasks is the job holder responsible for and in what way? What results are to be achieved?

* Maintains and develops databases containing product regulatory information.
* Coordinate regulatory compliance checks and documentation.
* Coordinate, answer and archive internal and external customer questions in the region. This work includes quick trouble shooting/reporting in EHS, SAP, PS&RA databases and other information systems. Answering incoming questions in a timely manner.
* Responsible for the Regulatory Regional mailbox where internal and external customers send their requests.
* Handles Export Notifications according the PIC regulation.
* Submit data to National Poison Centers.
* Contributes in Product Changes and product introduction within the region
* (Updates the SharePoint site for the PSRA BASC)
* Supports the enhancement of company awareness on regulatory affairs and product safety Responsible for following the Code of Conduct with an obligation to report deviations in legal compliance to responsible manager.

Essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and requested skills.

* B. Sc in chemistry and > 6 years of relevant experience or M Sc in chemistry, chemical engineering and >0 year of relevant experience
* Basic knowledge of chemical regulations
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and SharePoint
* Experience with SAP preferred (EH&S)
* Fluent in English, both written and verbal
* Ability to take on responsibility and make decisions balancing business orientation and legal requirements
