To secure the global chemical requirements for products that handle food we are looking for a Product Requirement Specialist for our team that handle Chemical requirements.
Job Description
As a Product Requirement Specialist you will provide specialist support and together with other roles within the organization, set the pre-conditions to secure safe and healthy products that comply with market requirements and standards that fulfil or even exceed customer expectations in all our sales markets.
More specifically you will:
Take leadership for gathering information externally about existing and proposed product requirements for existing and future life at home products.
Lead the development of product requirements and secure that they are documented and communicated in a clear and simple way.
Support the organization with competence development activities and implementation of product requirements.
Share your competence, experience and learning’s with colleagues.
Establish your internal and external network needed to succeed in your assignment.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to be able to navigate in a complex international organization, taking leadership and responsibility within your assignment. You have the ability to communicate in a clear and simple way with experts and non-experts. You are driven by a strong curiosity and have a desire to find better ways together with others, always with the business and our customers in focus. Since we are working in an international environment you need to be strong in communicating in English.
We believe that you have a university degree within the area of chemistry, or similar, and that you have experience from regulatory and product requirement/compliance-related work.
Preferably we see that you have knowledge in chemical risks related to various materials, such as plastics, metals, paper and ceramic. And having experience from work related to food-contact materials and requirements specifically is seen as a strong plus.
Ability to work in a structured way is a pre-condition, as well as good communication skills. Acting and leading according to the IKEA values is crucial.
