Product Requirement Specialist Textiles

Product Requirement Specialist Textiles

Arbetsbeskrivning

The product range is our identity and Range & Product Engineering is one of the most important enablers to ensure that we live up to the IKEA vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people!

We are looking for you who want to secure the future together with us, literally. The IKEA product range is designed to be functional, neat looking, affordable, of good quality and sustainable. This is what we call democratic design. But if it’s not living up to safety and other regulatory standards, we wouldn’t be able to offer it to our customers. This is where you come in!

As a Product Requirement Specialist (PRS) at IKEA of Sweden you make sure that we have the prerequisites to make our products comply with global regulation and standards. Right now, we are looking for a PRS for textiles, to support the development and verification process with identification, documentation and interpretation of relevant national and international regulations and standards for textiles. By building a network of stakeholders in external alliances and standardisation organisations, you will influence relevant new and existing legislation, regulations, and standards, of course with a solid awareness of sustainability and circularity in mind. Internally you´ll work in close collaboration with different teams in product development and product engineering.

Please send us your application – CV and letter of motivation – in English. Last day for application is September 20th. We are working with continuous selection, so don´t hesitate to apply. If you have any questions regarding the position, please contact hiring manager Stefan Svensson, +46 723 528 706. For questions regarding the recruitment process, you are welcome to contact Maria Fröberg Larsson +46 766 190 996.
