A Product Sales Responsible with a documented sales record and high ambition to develop our business within Gripen Support.


Your role

We are looking for a person with high drive and ambition with a documented sales record of business deals in complex technical context, that has the ability to see the big picture as well as to understand the details.


As Product Sales Responsible you will be responsible for taking in new business (new markets and areas) and to ensure the BU order intake, the key factor - to deliver planned financial results in the captured orders.


You will work closely with our Contract Responsibles, Bid managers and be part of the Winning Business process from initial contacts during business development and offerings to negotiating and signing of contracts.


This role is both challenging and holistic regarding the spectrum of responsibilities and interfaces and you will work with colleagues within the Business Unit, the Business Area as well as internal and external partners and customers.


You report to the Head of Marketing and Sales and your main role will be to manage both large scale complex offerings as well as standard offerings of the product portfolio towards both new and existing customers in Sweden.



Your profile

You have a technical or business degree from University and/or experience from marketing and sales of complex systems.


As a person, you are a business oriented professional with good ability to develop relationships and networks. You enyoy finding solutions to meet the needs of the customers.

Your analytical capability is important to understand the customer requirements and system solutions.


You have excellent self-management skills and can handle many parallel tasks such as handling many customer contacts at the same time.


You are a team player, skilled communicator who thrives in a global and complex business environment and that easily creates and maintains professional relationships and instills trust and commitment among those you meet in your everyday work regardless of cultural background.


You build up and maintain a vital Saab network and cooperates closely with other parts of the Saab community.


Other desired skills and experiences are:

* Customer oriententation with a strong business understanding for support contracts or will to learn about support contracts.
* Desire for innovation, both in technology and business models.
* Good pricing knowledge and ability to work in Excel


This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.



What you will be a part of

Business Unit Gripen Support manages Gripen business within Support and Services and provides a focal point for customers and partners. We provide support for the Gripen system including a range of products and services e.g. technical support, maintenance, ground support equipment, component repair, services for advanced electronic systems, as well as advanced logistics supply services.

We also offer maintenance concepts as well as production and implementation of various parts of other maintenance solutions to customers in all domains.
