Product Specialist The Product Specialist is a technical support role within our marketing department. As such he is an important link between us and our customers/user of our products. The Product Specialist will have, initiated and full knowledge/understanding about the product, its function and application. He shall be able to and/or manage: . give training on level "train the trainer" . give technical sales support . recommend technical solutions . support our R&D department in technical matters . conduct root cause investigations . support in claim handling . product documentation such as maintenance instructions . clarify spare parts and tools needed . clarify technical documentation needed Implementing knowledge and understanding for the products we are working with and the environment/application they are intended for is an essential part of the position. Thus is a practical technical understanding, as well as a skill to train others both internally and externally, important factors to be successful in this position. If you have some "dirt under your nails" and are an open and communicative person with the ability to see what has to be done and act on it and fulfils the vast majority of the requirements below, you are the person for this position. We see more to the person and his/hers experience than the education in this recruitment. The position requires travelling approximately 30 days a year, both international and domestic. Knowledge and experience . Practical experience from commercial vehicles . Good knowledge in English, both reading and writing, other languages such as German and/or French is preferred . Educational skill and experience or a deep interest to learn and develop this Essential skills . Be communicative, being able to build up a customer confidence . Have good analytic skill, root cause investigation . Have understanding about the connection between commercial and technical matters .
