To succeed in the role we see that you have many of the following:
- Good knowledge of working with Switching and routing protocols
- Knowledge of working with Wi-Fi Technology
- Experience of working with network security
- Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP Protocol
- Knowledge of Software defined LAN and WAN
- Experience in working with cloud networking (Azure, GCP, AWS etc.)
- Knowledge of automation and tooling’s (Ansible etc.)
- Knowledge in scripting and/or programming (Python, Java, PowerShell etc.)
- Experience of working with Design of local area and wide area networks
- Extensive experience of DHCP and DNS

About the job
As a Product Specialist for WAN you will be in lead/responsible for WAN and Cloud integration into an existing network infrastructure. This means you are in lead of WAN design, WAN planning, WAN implementation and Life-Cycle-Management. The main areas are routing/switching/policies within our SD-WAN network, technologies as MPLS/BGP/OSPF, WAN optimization and Cloud services.
To succeed with this you have great and skilled colleagues that together with you will enable the potential with SD-WAN to support the digitalization of IKEA. The IKEA Network consists of ~650 sites and our colleagues are spread globally with the main base in Sweden.
You will have the opportunity to take lead in driving initiatives that are in line with our overall goals and strategies. You will get the chance to grow both personally and professionally with the challenges that we have ahead of us.
This role is located in Helsingborg, but the role requires some travelling between our different headquarters (Malmö and Älmhult).
