About the jobPureBallast is an innovative Ballast Water Treatment System preventing the spread of invasive species to local marine environments. Alfa Laval has a century-long relationship with the maritime industry and the customers include shipbuilders, industry subcontractors, vessel owners and operators. As a Product Specialist you will be responsible for supporting our sales and service organization with product, engineering and installation solutions for PureBallast. The work includes contacts with our global organization and our engineering partners on a daily basis. You will be part of our technical support group, with the objective of giving superior support and improving our offering to our customers.The main work tasks:

Product & application support for PureBallast
Drawing review and engineering support to our engineering partners and customers
Support in customer dialogues
Knowledge transfer to our sales companies
After market technical support

 
What you know
You will be working in a highly international business environment, with multiple internal and external contacts world-wide. We believe that you have a technical education and great general interest and understanding of technology.Preferable you also have experience from the marine industry and have been working with engineering. As a person you are a social, service minded, responsible and a person with a strong mindset for teamwork and collaboration. You can also work by your own, take initiatives and suggest improvements.You have easy to learn and communicate in a respectful way. You have good computer skills and can handle the Office package. Fluency in English is a requirement.You will join a team of skilled and highly motivated colleagues and work in a challenging, fast moving and developing business. The position is based in Tumba, Sweden. Travelling is required, up to 40 days / year.
