We seek a person to strengthen our product specialist force within nutrition and animal husbandry.As a member of our team you will be a key player in the product management of the on-farm farm management systems and assortments.You will work in close contact with suppliers and other DeLaval entities globally.Your mission is to optimize this assortment's market position and financial return across its life cycle.Key responsibilities: Your key responsibilities will be to take an active part in the R&D and maintenance projects.Together with R&D engineers you will as a group especially work with software specifications and testing.The position also involves product management tasks like investigating new product concepts and their feasibility, plus defining, developing, launching and maintaining the products across their life cycles. As Product Specialist you will provide business support to sales organisations such as technical training and technical support.You will be responsible for quality, claim handling and follow-up with a strong focus on minimizing associated costs. Professional experience, profile of interest: We seek a person with a university degree in agriculture science and nutrition with interest in software solutions.You need a minimum three years experience in a relevant working field.You must have a good knowledge and understanding of dairy production.You must be fluent in English. Personal characteristics: You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be a good team player who has the ability to interact with people across functions and cultures.You will often work independently, so good organizational and planning skills are needed.Customer orientation and a good business mind are important for this position.We want you to have an interest in farm management solutions and a good understanding of the drivers in milk production.
