Product Specialist - Accessories

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a driven and structured Product Specialist with good technical understanding from product evaluation and testing.We believe you have at least 5 years of working experience primarily working directly with customers and experience from working in development projects of some sort.Preferably you also have knowledge from the accessories business and how to create value added solutions including both products and accessories.The role requires a problem solving ability and practical skills as there will be hands on product evaluations.Social abilities, excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written) and the ability to manage and perform in a multi cultural environment are crucial in order to be successful in Axis and in the role as Product Specialist. PRODUCT MANAGEMENT Product management is responsible for the Network Cameras, Encoders/Decoders and Accessories product offerings.This includes product planning, managing the products' life cycle, and handling of complex support issues escalated from local support teams.Our interfaces are both internal such as R&D, sales & marketing and operations and external customers, partners and suppliers.JOB DESCRIPTION Together with the product manager you will evaluate and test new product ideas, manage complex support cases and drive the accessory sales in Axis.Our goal is to have the markets best accessory offering.There will be a combination of long project oriented tasks, scheduled training sessions and ad-hoc tasks.It is important to be able to handle all of the above and keep focus on the overall goals and keep priorities.Your main tasks will be to: Handling all support cases, normally of a high complexity, that are escalated from the local support teams worldwide Test and verify customer problems and setup test environments Hands-on testing and evaluation of new products and product concepts Create training material on the product and new functions and features Run special training for customers and local support engineers Drive product technical and user documentation Be involved in the product development project The position involves traveling, about 20 days / year.WHAT AXIS CAN DO FOR YOU We can offer a truly global environment working with the latest technology in complex systems and applications.This is a great opportunity to grow with the global market leader in network video both on an individual and professional level.Come join us!READY TO ACT?Axis is a company realizing the benefits of a diverse workforce.We know that diversity in groups creates a better working environment and promotes creativity, something that is fundamental for our success.
