At IKEA, you’re welcome no matter where you come from, what you believe, and what you look like. We don’t even care how you have furnished your home. We’re interested in you simply because you’re you. Our different views, backgrounds, and personalities make us better understand our customers, give us more fun at work and spark more and better ideas. Perhaps your unique take on something could lead to a great idea that creates a better everyday life for many people.
We are on a journey to create a new IKEA. An IKEA that is more affordable, accessible, and sustainable, and that lives up to our vision of “creating a better everyday life for many people”. As part of this, we are undergoing a business transformation. The HR part of this transformation is referred to as “People Operations Transformation” (POT). The POT initiative aims to implement a new HR operating model to ensure that we become a world-class employer that provides world-class co-worker experiences.
To achieve this, we need to strengthen our Digital People Domain and we are looking for a Product Specialist to join the People Management area leading the People Delivery Management product team. We are at the beginning of the journey you will have the possibility to shape and implement the direction and approach for the area. During the coming years, we will modernize our ways of working and our digital landscape using SuccessFactors and OpenText as our core components. Our overall ambition is to provide an integrated, seamless, and personalized employment experience.
To be successful we believe you have proven experience from similar roles (including implementation of SuccessFactors/Workday), where you have obtained skills in working with digital product development. In addition to experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up, proven analytical skills and experience in understanding complex contexts with the ability to implement the product vision are crucial. We believe you have strong communication and collaboration skills and abilities to partner with business- as well as technical stakeholders. Furthermore, you should have a strong business and technology understanding.
Other qualifications we are looking for:
Long experience in the implementation of HCM solutions (SuccessFactors/Workday)
Measure, analyze and report on the performance of the Digital Products against business goals and KPIs
Support the product owner in tactical decision-making with analysis results and insights
To develop extensive knowledge of the stakeholders’ needs and interpret and share that knowledge with the product team, providing context, as needed to ensure that they develop and deliver what is expected
You are self-motivated with a strong focus on the delivery of user value
Driven, but with a collaborative mindset meaning you don't win, unless your team wins
Well organized with great attention to detail
Preferably knowledge of the OKR framework (Objectives & Key Results)
Willingness to travel – to a certain extent and as conditions allow
Excellent communicator in English
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
You will take a key role in the implementation of innovative digital products contributing to our business goals alongside other dedicated colleagues. Key activities to achieve this will be to stay close to the market and trends to understand and capture needs. You will have close collaboration within our digital product teams, with other Product Specialists, with the technology team, as well as with global and country business stakeholders.
TOGETHER AS A TEAM
We are just now building an amazing team to deliver on our overall transformation goals.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to creating our new reality and start a new era in the entire People Domain. In this role, you will report to the Product Owner for Administration & Organizational Management.
Studies show that members of underrepresented communities don’t apply for jobs unless they’re 100% “qualified”. If this is part of the reason you hesitate to apply, we would like you to reconsider and give it a chance. Maybe your profile fits our needs much better than you think. We look forward to receiving your application.
