Solution Management is globally responsible for the solution offering, sales support and professional services. This includes product, service and roadmap management for device capabilities, device management, software, analytics and End-to-End solutions. In addition we offer the regions project sales support and partner interface in technical and connected strategic matters. End-to-End Solutions is one out of five groups within Solution Management. WHO IS YOUR FUTURE TEAM?
Our vision is to contribute to a smarter and safer world by providing market leading end-to-end (E2E) surveillance solutions. Our E2E solutions are built around our own video management solutions, AXIS Camera Station, AXIS Companion and our recorders, but the functionality extends beyond that.

The End-to-End Solutions team has global product management responsibility for Axis End-to-End Solutions for Surveillance. The team consists of product managers, product specialists and other roles that together manage the entire life cycle of our solutions - from strategic planning to tactical activities, go to market, and maintenance.

We are now looking for a Product Specialist to join our End-to-End Solutions team within the Solution Management department.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Product Specialist in the End-to-End Solutions team your focus will be on our recording solutions and managed switches. Most of the products and functionality you will be working with are developed in our own R&D projects, where you will be expected to provide expert input on customer needs, as well as represent product management. You will also be responsible for handling the complex support cases escalated from our local support teams worldwide. Your work can be divided into four general areas

* Take part in the development of new products/functionality, as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements. This includes involvement in R&D projects, product documentation and meetings with external partners and suppliers.
* Maintain and develop product/system functionality: Identify new requirements and areas which cause problems, plan for new functionality, maintain existing functionality, assist in pre-sales issues, etc.
* Drive competence: Create training materials, run product training sessions and write technical notes, FAQs and white papers.
* Solve customer cases: Solve and prioritize support cases of a high complexity, either on your own, or in close cooperation with Axis engineers and/or external suppliers.

We travel to strengthen relations but focus on digital media to become efficient. Travelling up to 15 days a year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and structured individual with experience and talent in problem solving. We believe you have a service minded attitude and that you are practical when it comes to technical matters, as you will need to do hands-on product testing and product evaluation. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with IT system and network administration, as well as Axis products.

You have social skills and the ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. You enjoy a high pace with multiple activities ongoing in parallel. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment. Furthermore we believe you have:

* At least 5 years work experience.
* A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters
* A deep understanding of technical matters and preferably experience of test procedures, trouble-shooting and product evaluation.
* Experience with administration and configuration of Windows operating systems.
* Experience with network administration and related computing environments including system software, hardware and configurations.
* Interests in and experience with creating technical documentation, including educational videos, How-to guides, FAQs, etc.
* Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
* Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage.
