We are looking for a Product Specialist to join our team within Technical Service (TS).
Together in the teams, we have the responsibility to deliver and coordinate technical support for Volvo HD and eMob trucks, towards market companies and importers. We are the link between the market and design departments at Volvo Group Trucks Technology. And we contribute to the Product Development process with our field and aftermarket expertise.
This is the role
As Product Specialist Telematic, you will be responsible for resolving all hardware and software related problems that might occur in customer trucks. One of our main deliveries is to quickly develop creative containment actions, temporarily resolving customer issues. You therefor work independently with a large personal responsibility, of course supported by our Product specialist teams.
You will also act as the key person representing the market/end-customer in projects where quality issues are addressed. Technical Service is the link between design departments and the market. So you could never get to much truck knowledge.
The work is carried out both at the office in Gothenburg where you remotely work with analyzes and support systems. But occasionally visiting our customers all around the world to investigate and resolve problems is an important and rewarding part of the job.

This is you
You have broad experience from telematics, software, electronics, and diagnostics in vehicles
Diagnostic Engineering or System Design at AMT or E&E design department or similar and aftermarket experience in truck business
You have a technical university degree, or equivalent experience
Your analytical ability and passion for problem solving, paired with creative and network building abilities, ensures that you will succeed in this role
Knowledge of TEA2/TEA2+
Since we are a truly global company, fluency in English is fundamental
As we also have a strong domestic market, fluency in Swedish is also a pre-requisite
To fast get up to speed, it is a plus if you have knowledge in any of these systems: VDA/Configurator/SEWS, Diagnostic systems ex. Canalyzer, Volvo Connect / Dynafleet, 4G/5G networks, FMS-standards, Techtool and/or Tachographs.
