About this role
As a Product specialist at Irisity you will be an integral part in shaping the way video analytics as a service offering moving forward. With a core in advanced video analytics, Irisity offers everything from embedded stand-alone analytics to a complete cloud-based video surveillance system for our professional international security industry partners. Your role will be broad and focus on varied things like the competitive landscape, planning of future development and assessing and specifying incoming product requests. In this position you will have a lot of contact points, both internally and externally. You will combine long term planning and operational tasks and always with the customer in focus, with the goal of developing the customer relationship and contributing to future product improvements.

As a Product specialist you will be responsible for, among other things:

- Review and analyze market trends and client feedback in order to forecast future trends
- Liaise between clients end-users and product development team to recommend product enhancements. To do this you will collaborate closely with several departments internally
- Actively participate in customer- and market-related activities
- Support our sales department in customer meeting when they need your technical help
- Product planning

Who we think you are
You are analytical, a good listener and have a great technical interest and understanding. At the same time, you enjoy many contact surfaces and especially customer contact and have a natural aptitude for creating and maintaining long-term relationships. You also have the ability to both capture and clarify our customers needs. You are happy to share your knowledge and experiences and can in a pedagogical and simple way communicate and describe technically complex issues.

To be successful at this position a deep understanding for technology and how it brings business benefits combined with analytical skills and outstanding communication skills are your most valuable tools. We think you have:

- At least a few years experience from a corresponding role with market trend analysis, forecasting and product planning from a relevant industry
- The ability to evaluate requirements and set them against each other in a business perspective
- A curious and solution-focused mind
- A relevant education e.g. within the technical fields


Excellent Swedish and English communication skills (both written and verbal) is a requirement. Background from the security industry and experience from scaling up software services are seen as major advantages. If you have been writing product specifications/requirements before and also have experience within sales we think you got this!
