Product Specialist, Washing Category - LG

LG Electronics Nordic AB Home Appliance Sales & Marketing department are looking for a Category specialist for Washing Machines (including Washers, Washer/Dryers, Dryers and Stylers).

About the role

The Category Specialist will be responsible for maintaining knowledge and insight for LG’s products internally and externally. This involves education of LG staff and customer staff such as salesmen, creating of content materials, providing technical support and testing, communicating with journalist etc.

The Category Specialist is also responsible for monitoring the overall market trends from a technical point of view, identifying angles to best promote LG’s products in the market.

Profile

In order to succeed in this position, it is crucial to be able to manage several simultaneous projects.

- Strong technical knowledge is needed, preferably in the area of home appliances.
- Must be an experienced presenter and lecturer.
- As the position will involve external contacts including press & media, excellent communication skills is a must.


Requirements

- Fluent in English and Swedish (Finnish is an advantage)
- Deep technical experience with consumer electronics, preferably home appliances
- Strong skills in PowerPoint, Excel and image manipulation software
- Experience in communicating with press and media in a professional setting
- Experience in holding presentations for an external audience
- Experience in providing technical education
- General insight of the Nordic consumer electronics retail market structure
- Knowledge of web content management systems


Other

The position will involve some travel, both domestic and international. We will start the recruitment immediately and looking forward to your application. The start will be during January 2021.
