Sandvik Coromant in Sandviken is looking for Product Specialist - within parting and grooving Description Product Management Turning Tools, CCPT, is today an 11 people team responsible for a high competitive turning program.We work in an international environment with a lot of contacts with our global network.Our main challenge is to have a very high technical knowledge of our products to be able to give support to our specialist out on the market.We are responsible for training within the area both internal and external.A big task is to participate and lead projects in the product development process.We are now looking for a Product Specialist who can reinforce our team. Key performance areas Fields of responsibility: - Shared responsibility for the assortment within parting and grooving.- Strategies, product programs and forecasts for above products.- To acquire application knowledge within the area.- Producing technical information and SP-material for the product introduction.- To set clear demands on new products.Expected Results: You will visit our subsidiaries to learn how our tools function and gather the demands from our customers.In that way you will be meeting a lot of people in the organisation to form your own network.In the long term you are expected to make your own decisions within the product area and you will decide the main-actions for future development. Your profile This position requires a good team worker with ability to work close to co-workers at our mother company and our subsidiaries.You will join a dynamic and creative climate with a high degree of independency and complexity.Therefore we're looking for a person who likes to have several things running at the same time, and we require that you are a strong organizer.We believe that you today work as a production technician (minimum 3 years experience) or possess a Master of Science within engineering.Previous experience from metal cutting and production engineering is a plus.Strong communication skills in the English language are required.Other languages are considered as a merit.
