Where You’ll Belong
At the department Product Documentation, we are in total approximately 90 persons divided into six different groups. We share the responsibility of all releases of models, drawings, parts and product numbers within Volvo Cars. We work closely with both engineering and car realizes within the company. We are now looking for a Product Specification Specialist with Teamcenter competence to our group Product Specification & Configuration!

The group consists of 11 people divided into three teams with different focus: CMA, SPA and the Future platforms. You will have focus on the future and contribute with Teamcenter knowledge highly valuable to change our way of working both internally as well as with external stakeholders. You will work parallel with your teammates who is working in similar projects and with similar responsibilities.  

In this role, you get the chance to be involved in the whole development process, from early phase until production and you will build up a solid network. 

What You’ll Do
You are responsible for implementing changes and updates of Volvo Cars products in the PDM-systems KDP and Teamcenter, both during the development and in running production. You will be involved in KDP Next Generation development from a Product specification point of view and work in cooperation with various development units within R&D, Consumer Experience and factories among others. You will work on multiple projects and act as a representative for your area. 

Competence is Important 
We believe that you have Technical University or equivalent working experience. You have worked in Teamcenter and KDP and have the ability to train others in the tool. You have a couple of years of experience in product specification within automotive. 

You will use both Swedish and English in your daily work therefore it is important that you are fluent in these languages (spoken and written).

Personality is Key
You share our passion for cars, both from a customer and technical point of view. You have a high level of engagement and are good at cross-functional work and networking. You are communicative, with the courage and ability to cooperate with several competencies. 

You are very structured, detail-oriented alongside that you have an analytical mindset. You enjoy working on multiple projects in a continuously changing environment.
