Product support engineer

1. Target and purpose:
Product Support Engineer main task is to give adequate product support regarding Slurry Hose system and Slurry Pipe System towards internal supply units, SSO, OEM, distributors and agents etc.
Product support covers quotes, price information, product information, pipe layouts and product selection within specific application areas. A vital part is also to engineer product proposals. The PSE will also be prepared to provide installation supervision on end customer’s site on big projects.
You will participate in product development projects and custom design solutions

Five main segments: Global
General Product support Slurry Hose System & Slurry Pipe System



Quotes, price information, ICP, GLP, MALP



Product selections within specific application areas


Internal product training



Participate in product design, custom order design & development



Produce brochures and marketing material to global Metso standard



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience from related products.
A benefit with understanding of and experience of pump and slurry products.
General mining process knowledge including related equipments a benefit



Should have computer knowledge in office, and CAD is also a benefit
Should be able to speak and write English with no problem
Driving License is a benefit
