Product validation manager, CNH Industrial Are you a person who is attracted to leading a highly competent team within product validation in an international company with local roots in a traditional environment? CNH Industrial is a multinational manufacturer of commercial vehicles such as trucks and agricultural machinery, with 63,000 employees worldwide. At the site in Överum, many of the components are manufactured for plows, seed drills and ramp spreaders. Production takes place in a high-tech and traditional industrial environment with a good proportion of automated machine steps such as automatic welds and multi-robots. Final assembly for finished products also takes place in Överum. CNH Industrial Sweden has about 100 employees on site in Överum.

About the role
As product validation manager at CNH you will lead and manage the day to day activities and growth of the Överum product validation team. By reporting directly to the global Product Line Product Validation (PLPV), the validation manager will work within a dynamic cross functional team of engineers and program managers to meet platform goals of robust system and component validation for current and new products whitin the tillage platform. The product validation team are in close collaboration with the product development team and therefor it is of great importance that you act proactively towards product development with all that is needed from you and your team within your area of responsibility.
You are responsible for the execution of the validation requirements related to product design and product lifecycle with a keen focus on build, test, evaluation, and development of prototype soil management equipment in physical and simulated field conditions. You will also provide oversight to the Överum Prototype Shop.

Personal suitability is of great importance, but to succeed in the role, we see several required and preferred qualifications:
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of experience working in an engineering capacity supporting product development, validation, manufacturing, or quality.
- 3+ years’ experience in project management, people leadership, or leading cross-functional engineering teams through effective collaboration.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) issues, problems, and observations of work being performed in both Swedish and English.
- Operational competency with tillage equipment.
Preferred qualifications:
- 3+ years of understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Understanding of principles of sensing, instrumentation, and measurement techniques using CAN system and Data acquisition systems.
- Prior experience managing or leading a team
- Demonstrated ability to work with a cross functional team as well as being a strong individual contributor.
- Experience in agricultural, construction, heavy equipment, or similar fields.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)
- Ability to execute test methods using appropriate problem solving and decision analysis techniques.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision managing multiple projects and tasks
