Production Advisor

Job Description Summary
The Production Advisor is responsible for performing Process and Quality improvement activities to achieve Standardization and cost-out by waste elimination. This includes projects for supplier improvement, increasing, production, improving supply chain to reduce cost and achieve stability, reducing lead time and improving labor productivity. This person will collaborate with a cross functional teams (including R&D, Production Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply chain) and other Site Leadership and utilize their expertise and experience to create and execute a effective plan for the factory.
Job Description
Lead and effectively interface with cross-functional team to execute the factory goals.
Demonstrate Leadership in problem identification and problem solving activities with Root cause corrective action through Daily Management execution
Coach and develop dynamic value stream maps to determine bottlenecks and constraints within production.
Maintain and Improve Safety and ergonomics standards in operations
Identify opportunities to improve On time delivery (Internal and External), reduce lead time, improve Labor productivity and keep highest level of quality.
Coach and demonstrate critical thinking through the use of Komatsu way and PDCA methodologies to solve complex problems.
Drive, Lead and Support Kaizens at all levels of in production and drive continuous improvement activities throughout the value stream to achieve business results.
Work with Operational teams to reduce and eliminate disruptions in production.
Drive measurable improvements in productivity and product flow,
