Candela’s ultimate purpose is to speed up the transition to fossil fuel-free lakes and oceans. We strive to re-think efficiency in marine transportation to radically push the performance boundaries of electric boats and ships.
By combining sensors, computers and advanced submerged hydrofoils, our electric craft fly above the water, reaching speeds and range previously attained only by fossil fuel powerboats.
After launching Candela C-7, Europe’s currently best-selling electric boat, we launched Candela C-8 in August 2021, the first electric boat intended for high volume production. We are also venturing into public transport with the revolutionary foiling P-30 ferry, built for the city of Stockholm.
We are now looking for a Production Control & Data Collection Specialist support Candela’s growth ambitions.
Core responsibilities:
Production control
- Responsible for the production plan concept on basis of the production requirements as well as the SCM (supply chain management)
- Repair planning of machines, tools and fixtures in coordination with Candela Production Unit (CPU)/Candela Production Table (CPT) and maintenance
- Monitor production progress on the basis of the production plan as well as triggering corrective actions in case of deviations
Data collection
- Support in the analysis of machine capacities
- Monitoring inventories for part numbers in his/her area of responsibility
- Main contact person for the CPU regarding SCM topics in the ERP System
- Support optimization in the area of SCM (Supply chain management)
- Support in new launches and changes
To be successful in the role:
- Startup-/ greenfield production experience
- Experience from MSA (measurement system analysis)
- BsC in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience from working with Quality Database
- A continuous improvement mindset
- QPS (quick problem solving)

This is a full-time position at our production facility in Gåshaga, Lidingö. But we will move the Production site to Rotebro, 20 min north of Stockholm, during fall 2022. Working language is English, if you also know Swedish it will be a benefit for yourself, but it is not a prerequisite for the role.
