Production Controller

We offer you an important roll taking part in identifying needed improvements and implementing them in our operations.

The Primary department, in the Sandvik Materials Technology business area, is responsible for supplying production units globally with semi-finished inputs. Primary's operations include: smelting, powder production, ingot blooming mill, billet grinding, wire milling, pickling and finishing. The operations involve more than 100 employees.

Key performance areas
As Production Controller you will be responsible for the department's budget, costs monitoring, cost accounting, accounting for the results of operations and management accounting. You will be part of close cooperation between the Primary organization and other production areas, which will provide you with a broad network of contacts, both nationally and internationally.

Some travel will be required.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with an MBA, or the equivalent, and at least three years' experience, preferably in production controlling. Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite for the position, as is good knowledge of the MS Office suite, particularly Excel. Knowledge of German and French is advantageous, as is familiarity with the Movex business system.

You are analytical, with good capacity for seeing relationships and drawing conclusions. You are also thorough and able to work with details while maintaining your overall view of the operations. You work proactively, methodically and flexibly and enjoy having periods of fast-paced work.
