We are expanding the Stainless Service business by introducing Intelligent Tube Systems and, as part of this expansion, we are currently looking for a curious and quality-conscious Production Development Engineer to Sandviken. Job Summary
As a Production Development Engineer, you are actively involved in the success of expanding our new business within Intelligent Tube Systems by contributing with your technical expertise. You develop our technical solutions to enable growth of the business and you contribute to the development of an industrialized production route for our new business area. You investigate different options, make recommendations and then implement the selected route. Some of the activities are conducted in project form, where you also act as project manager. Standardizing solutions and building and maintaining contact with selected partners, production managers and technicians are other important parts of this position.

Since this is a new business area, we also expect you to actively engage in the development of new system offerings and the department’s continuous improvement process.

Some travel will be required in this position, both domestic and international.

We are looking for someone with a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Material Engineering or another relevant field. You have a minimum of five years’ experience from the steel industry, preferably working closely with production and, as Intelligent Tube Systems is a technically complex and diverse area, it is necessary to have deep technical knowledge and experience from taking part in technical projects. We consider previous experience from electronics production to be advantageous. Finally, you are fluent in Swedish and English, both in speaking and in writing.
