We are now looking for a people oriented and forward leaned leader who wants to take a key role in the HV Breakers & Modules production development team in their journey onwards. Your focus will be leading and developing the production development team with around 10 employees to reach targets and develop processes through continuous improvement.
As a Production Development Manager at HV Breakers & Modules you will be part of High Voltage Products that is a business unit within Hitachi ABB Power Grids.
Your responsibilities
As a Production development manager, you will work in a dynamic environment where your main task will be to ensure that our production segments are world-class based on the Lean principles.
Take part in the strategic development of the factory and ensure that the strategy is communicated, discussed, and implemented in your teams.
Play a key-role in the improvements and implementation of new and updated products in the factory.
Develop and optimize process and methods in the factory and will be responsible for project and investments.
In close collaboration with your colleagues you will improve manufacturing flow and working methods, as well as machine optimization and production equipment while focusing on safety, quality, availability, productivity, and work environment.
The role is both operational and strategic with many contact areas on several levels in the organization.

Your background
Interpersonal skills with high degree of personal integrity; strong listening, creative thinking, and communication and negotiation skills is a necessity.
Your analytical skills enable you to define and prioritize the most important tasks for the factory and department.
A strong leadership for us should be characterized with people development, openness to change, and the willingness to build a successful team.
As a person you are innovative, have a strong will to improve and ability to think outside the box.
You are experienced negotiator and project leader who handles changes with energy and engagement.
You hold a University degree in engineering and are experienced in project management.
Knowledge of Lean production.
As we are a global company, it is important that you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike.
