You will be part of Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Figeholm. We are a global leader in the field of transformer insulation serving both internal transformer factories and external customers. On the idyllic Swedish east coast close to Oskarshamn Power grids is operating a board machine converting cellulose into so called transformer board.
Your responsibilities
Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity and product quality.
Oversee quality investigations managed through the DMAIC process and lead of quality improvements.
Execute continuous development and strategy deployment using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
Identify and recommend improvement opportunities and implement enhancement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality and cost requirements.
Approve the design for processes developed internally or externally and perform final tests to secure product quality and internal project targets.
Provide support to Production in process and quality developments and support training relevant to maintenance and production resources.

Your background
You have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
You have proven experience in production and industrial processes preferably from the Pulp and Paper industry, whereas other industrial experience is also beneficial.
You have background within Lean Six Sigma and experience from using DMAIC methodology or similar.
You have problem solving oriented and structured mindset.
You are a true team player who has strong communication and collaboration skills, as projects and problem solving will be handled cross-functionally in the organization.
You are fluent in Swedish and English both written and spoken.
