HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a business unit within Hitachi Energy, located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.

We are looking for an experienced project manager to introduce new products to manufacturing. In this role you will control cost, quality, time plan and capacity parameters. Your responsibilities
Project management; initiation, planning and execution
Solve complex problems with layout/flow in present and future manufacturing processes
Planning and development of new processes for manufacturing - equipment, assembly instructions etc.
Keep management informed regarding project status
Stay current on coming and/or updated designs
Responsibility for budget and time planning
Your background
You have relevant academic background, e.g. university degree in Production Engineering.
You have knowledge of LEAN principles and continuous improvement, preferably in a role as a production engineer.
You are used to running projects and never doubt acting. You know how to organize and work proactively.
You contribute with great energy and enjoy working in a fast-moving environment.
Fluency in both Swedish and English is required, both written and spoken.
Experience in Ms Project is beneficial.
You have relevant academic background, e.g. university degree in Production Engineering.
