Production Engineer

Working at Outokumpu as a production engineer, you’ll be given the exiting opportunity to flex your analytical skills and work with technically advanced production lines. Here you’ll find that no day is the same and there is always something new and exciting. You’ll have a possibility to get a closer look to lots of different machines and processes. For this specific process group you will have the opportunity to work with methods as welding, cold rolling, annealing, cooling, tensioning, brushing, mix-acid pickling and inspection.
Your role:
Run projects and improvement work in all steps of the process
Run smaller and participate in larger investment projects
Develop the manufacturing process, find errors, and help to fix it
Constantly monitor and improve the efficiency and availability of the machinery
Lead and participate in the implementation of continuous improvement strategies within given process group
You will collaborate a lot with our supporting functions and other stakeholders such logistics, maintenance, and quality/technology departments

About you:
You have Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Previous experience working in similar role or industry is advantage
You are fully fluent in Swedish and English
You are communicative and responsive
A team player with good collaboration skills
Willing to learn and not afraid of making decisions
